tact.

So yesterday my boss took us all out for Administrative Professional’s Day. Which to me is like "hey your job sucks so much that we had to recently change your title from secretary to administrative professional so you feel like a real human being and now you must sit through an awkward lunch with people you don't even like that much to celebrate your status" Day.

But that's besides the point.

Obviously, it's common knowledge that a lunch like this is paid for by your boss (or the company). So we're leaving; waiting in the hall for Jan per usual. And Jan pointedly shouts from her desk, "DO I NEED TO BRING MY WALLET?!" If you haven't heard me speak of Jan before, she's either whispering or yelling. And by whispering I mean yelling.

So we're all like "(sigh) No Jan you don't need your wallet."

Here are two pictures of Jan that Jihone drew when he worked here, and by worked I mean entertained me and occasionally demanded sandwiches.

Those CARTOONS are beautiful, however I can't quite read the writing, can you make them bigger. LOL to Jan, every office has a Jan.

the writing is just her rambling, it's kind of illegible on purpose because most the time no one knows what she's talking about. example from today at lunch: "I worked as a secretary right out of high school I've been in admin for 27 years hahahah my daughter works at UofA when she was here she parked in structure four we walked a long way to work she walked in front of me so I was like have I turned into my mother hahahahha the dog walks slow it's getting warm I think I'll get the chicken salad" cue me stabbing the Chili's water spotted steak knife into my thigh.
