Squaw Peak (I don't know the new name)

Against our better judgment Rachel and I decided we should go hiking Saturday morning. So everyone's up to speed: whatever hiking I do is usually up or down stairs that I come into contact with in my day to day life; if there is no elevator or escalator around. And whatever Saturday morning activities I do usually consist of pajamas, my bed, and debating if I should get up to pee or see if I can fall back asleep as long as I don't lay on my stomach. I believe Rachel can attest to similar habits in her own life.

The boys are aware of these facts and that is probably why when we pitched the idea to hike on Friday night they laughed in our faces. Which is exactly why we dragged ourselves out of bed at 9:30 am Saturday morning, tied on our only slightly used tennishoes, picked up the boys, helped them lift their jaws off the floor, and drove to Squaw Peak.

All I have is cell phone pictures right now because only Rachel had her camera; and she'll probably never email them to me.

So here is the view from the top, and Zach's nerdy hiking boots.

Here I am at the top, closer to death than I've ever been, wondering if I'll ever make it down to see my family again.

LOL closer to death...Erica you have nothing to prove, now drive to Fashion Square mall before you have a stroke! I can also attest to the pee comment, lol.

lol, and thankfully there is an abundance of escalators at Fahion Square because I don't think I'll ever be able to climb anything again.

You took the pictures to prove your fictional story. BTW Chad is looking rather Elvisy in the background.

Ditto, nothing to prove, now stop doing things that can possibly bring you harm and stick to what you know best, shopping.

You guys looks cold and fuss. LOL Chad does look a bit like pre-drug binge Elvis there.

I think it's called "Piestawa Peak" now. And I know I spelled it wrong. I admire you guys for hiking up there in the cold weather!!
