So Zach had the day off yesterday, and as I previously stated, was in charge of getting dinner plans together. I got a little nervous when I heard of his plans to go dirtbike riding with Chad in the late afternoon because the act of dirtbike riding causes Zach to enter a vortex where time doesn't exist. It's a place where a rumbling motor is the only sound to pierce his ears, where the big jump up ahead is all that matters, where the outside world is nothing but a memory. Sure enough, here's what happened:
5:00PM
I leave work and call Zach, no answer.
5:30PM
No answer.
6:00PM
Z: (out of breath) Hello?
E: Hey how was dirtbiking?
Z: Oh great, I did the kicker I think I hurt my ankle.
E: Be careful! So did you call the restaurant?
Z: Um no, I'll do that when I get home.
E: Well um, it's 6:00. If we're gonna make the movie, we should just stay in the area. How about just like Macayos?
Z: Okay, I'll take care of it.
E: Okay.
6:30PM
E: Hello?
Z: (frazzled) Okay I called two Macayos they don't take call aheads one was busy I don't know maybe I could just make you dinner what should we do I tried Olive Garden too they said the wait was like two hours!
E: Um, okay...well why don't we just go to one of the Macayos and see how long the wait is.
Z: Well okay but I called like a million times and no one answered! I'm sure it's packed!
E: Where are you?
Z: At home.
E: I thought you were on your way!
Z: Okay I'm coming!
6:32PM
I hang up with Zach call information and get the number to Macayos. Macayos is busy, I call again, someone answers.
"Hi thanks for calling Macayos, this is Julie."
"Hi, I'm on my way there, can you put my name down?"
"Sure!"
"Okay, table for two, the name is Erica."
"Alright Erica, the table should be ready in about 30 minutes."
"Thanks."
7:05PM
We pull up to Macayos, as we're walking in the door they call, "Erica! Table for two!" Zach is dumbfounded.
Dear. Sakes.

You are a patient woman. Lol to the perfect dialogue.
You are patient, I would have lost it....or maybe you didn't lose it because he was planning ahead by bringing you the afternoon gifts. Why are women so much better at making plans?
LOL to the very good dialogue! You and Chris and your dialogues, I could read them all day.
Zach is still a sweety.

lol he has good intentions. Planning is not his strong point. If it wasn't for the sweet lunch and gifts I probably would have been less agreeable, lol.
Plus I think I was too satisfied with my own victory of getting things together at the last minute.
LOL, that was quite a situation diffused by the quiet efficiency of Caca. Bless your patience and at least Zach didn't dirtbike until 7 or 8. Or you guys having to end up eating at Olive Garden!!! Ew.
I can just hear that conversation perfectly. LOL
