Really, the whole reason we went to Globe was to go to the famous El Ray. It's the type of restaurant where you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom.
The food was delish though. However, I'm still not sold about having an egg on my enchilada, on the other hand Zach pretty much hasn't stopped talking about it and how it basically changed his life.
Good Mexican food brings out the soft smile in Rachel.
I've said on this blog before that Zach is a dancer at heart. Just look how he effortlessly poses just like this professional Globe dancer.
This was at an antique shop. Right after I took this picture a black cat walked by us and I said it was a loves, but Rachel called him Bagheera; which if you didn't know, is the panther from Jungle book.
She has no respect for felines, so I made her pose by Garfield.

I was in shock when I saw this post about Globe! My family takes day trips to Globe just for El Ray, too! I'm most obsessed with the flour tortilla chips. My sisters love that they DRENCH your burrito in fat. {aka-enchilada sauce} Anyway, you are hilarious and I love being your creepy blog stalker. The end.

The El Ray sounds fabulous. Mike made us take a trip to Globe once entirely based on the fact that 'Globe' reminds him of boobs. I'm serious.

Mike, LOL. Like you literally went to Globe just so he could say he went to a town that has a name that represents the shape of a boob? That is the best thing I've ever heard. I had a friend who wanted to go to Tuba City and play the Tuba while marching through the town. Which is also great.
Yes. true story. He is obsessed with boobs. I remember we drove through town, were unimpressed, and got gas and some chocolate milk for the kids. LAME.
I want to think it was on our way to Tucson, but I don't think it was. :(

Seriously everyone needs to try the egg on the enchilada. Most delicious. And thank you Erica for posting all of the really good pictures of me. I will start respecting felines when Chris respects Globe.
