This week in Niceness.

How nice, #1:
I told Malia that the only thing I know how to make are fajitas, and not even the semi-fancy kind; the kind that uses a ready-made seasoning mix. She told me that it's okay because she sticks to safe recipes too sometimes, and it made me feel better, even though I know she was lying.

How nice, #2:
Last night we were in Zach's basement (we were just watching Arrested Development DVDs you pervs) and I needed some tums so he ran upstairs to get me some. When he came back I remembered I needed my phone, so he ran back upstairs again to get it for me. This is nice because I HATE going upstairs.

How nice, #3:
My brother called me and asked me what I was getting our dad for Father's Day. I told him I might get him a hammock because he had one when we were little, but I thought it was kind of a lame idea. But Griffin replied, "THAT'S SUCH A GOOD IDEA!" very genuinely. And I was happy that I am a good gift giver. It doesn't take much for me to pat myself on the back.

Nice doers this week:

Those are indeed all very nice...and a hammock IS a great idea. And I'm so glad you and Zach are watching AD...do you just love GOB????? They are all brilliant on that show. That is a supercute pic of Malia, btw.

I agree with C, the show is comical genius. I get really excited when I know of other people that watch it too so that I can reference it and get a good reaction. They're illusions Michael! Tricks are what a whore does for money.

I need to get on the bandwagon with AD, I'm currently trying to start my pre screening of The Shield and Rescue Me. I need TIVO.
The 3 people mentioned are indeed some of the nicest people on this planet. I like this post--good idea.

Hello Erica,
I don't know if you knew this or not... Yesterday I came across a blog you posted with my name that came up under a Google search for NBC's "Age of Love." I haven't hear from or seen anyone from high school in such a long time! Congratulations to you and Zach and your new family. Lovely to see your pictures!
(I felt it necessary to apologize to you, and the other gals commenting in that blog, for believing that I was a "biotch." I would have never thought that to be the consensus.)
Well while I'm here, I have a question. Truly posted on the NBC website, and I wanted to contact her. Do you have her e-mail address? Thanks regardless.
Best Wishes, Tessa

Erica, So I love your blog and you seriously make me crack up! You've always had the creative touch! It was so fun seeing you at the wedding festivities... we should run into each other more often now that I'm an Arizona girl again... finally! You and Zach are so cute together. Love, Natalie
P.S. What is that Tessa comment all about?
