The ever-so talented Casey came over last night and gave me my late birthday present. Whenever I have somehow convinced myself that I'm artistic and/or creative, I just take a look at whatever project Casey is working on to put myself back in my place. While she was over I showed her a little scrapbook I was working on and I felt like I was showing Monet my lily pad doodle. It was embarrassing.
Anyway, the GIFT:
A jewelry hanger! "Functional art" as Casey called it. This is what happens when she gets her hands on a piece of wood, some fabric, a few knobs and hooks, and a blank canvas. I'd probably just build a fort.
I can't wait to find the perfect place to hang it. Thanks again Case of Base! I love you!

I made Erica a shadowbox for her birthday and it didn't even get an honorable mention or a pic on her blog, I can't compete with you Casey, you win.
Yours will be hung, mine will be left in her closet with shoe dust and dirty clothes to cover it.

lol Mom! Your beautiful shadow box has its own honorable shelf on my bookshelf in my living room. And the only reason I didn't post a picture, is because I look ugly in the picture that I'm holding it in. And I am vain.
