Long time no see

You guys, total blog neglect, I'm sorry. After the holidays we'll all get better again right? RIGHT?! And I will set up my Internet soon. I just don't really know how, so instead I eat popcorn and watch Pride and Prejudice; because boy do I know how to eat popcorn and admire Mr. Darcy's hands.

Lots of wedding plans in the works. My mom hasn't killed me yet, so we're doing okay I'd say. We booked our venue, the Arizona Historical Society in Tempe.

Here is the entrance lined with cute luminaries!

We checked out some other places before we decided. Here's Zach being very helpful at Lavender and Old Lace.

Does anyone have a florist recommendation? Seriously.

After all my plans???? I'm all weepy and, alas, once again unemployed or, better yet, everunderemployable.

you don't know me, but terri flaherty is an *amazing* florist, if you can get her.

Terri is also great at decorating too, but the wedding at my house last month was beautiful because of the flowers and I have seen others she has done. Very affordable too. Her name is Tami and Im sure she has plenty of pictures, if you decide to check her out. Her and Terri both live not too far from you either.

Let me second my mother's comment... You don't know me either, although we did go to the same high school and I feel as if I know you from stalking your blog for so long now. But, Terri Flaherty is freakin' amazing. She did the flowers for my wedding and I was speechless when I saw the incredible job she did. Truth be told, my mother cried her eyes out when she saw all the flowers. She's a baby! But, nevertheless, Terri does an amazing job with decorating and flowers period. I would certainly recommend her, if she is free and willing to do so! Good luck!

Good luck with the plans Caca, let me know what I can do to help.
I don't know how you get anything done between trips to Grandma's condo. :( :(

I did my own flowers with the help of my sister so I can't really help with that dilemma but do yourself a favor and hire Wes Johnson as your photographer. AMAZING. He wasn't my photographer but I wish to Allah that he was. Check out his website: http://www.wesjohnsonphoto.com/ I can't tell you his pricing but since he's done professional and celebrity shots, he might be a little pricey. However, he just did my brother's wedding in Seattle and the pictures rock. Here are their pictures: http://picasaweb.google.com/snielson/WeddingPhotos/photo#5144001008536437762

Oh that place looks wonderful. Man... wedding planning. It's really fun until about a month before- lol. That's when you realize there are about 50 things that you haven't done, yet, that you should have done 5 months previous! But you'll be fine. You're super-Erica!!
I'm honestly so happy for you...
