We're taking our engagement shots next month, so I've been thinking about what we should wear lately. Here's one idea I'm considering. I don't like the "Look at us we match!!" look.

The dress looks a little Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz (just think if you were wearing red shoes instead of green). Be glad Zach doesn't look like a flying monkey. But, yes, I do dislike the matchy-matchy pics myself.

Only 4 comments...you've got your friends (and family) running scared! You will look fabulous in anything you wear, at least for the next ten or so years. In twenty years you will be telling your children "everybody dressed like that!" or "...that was before I had kids", and my favorite "yes, your dad had hair"...
I'm totally feelin' the Gap outfit for Zach- it's classic, and stylish. It's so hard to choose the outfit for you, huh? I wanted a new outfit, and wore it for the first time for the pictures. But I found out like 10 minutes later that it was very wrinkly, and kept showing too much cleavage. Didn't think his Grandpa would approve too much. We actually ended up doing sepia pictures anyway, so there was no point in trying to be matchy-matchy. Good luck with finding the right thing!
I usually love your style - so I'm sure you'll choose something great - but I have to agree that the dress is looking a little Dorothy from the wizard of Oz . . . which, I'm thinking is not the look you are going for.
I agree with the anon's that the dress reminds me of Dorothy, but it's still cute. You and Zach would look good in anything.
