Scrabulous is Facebook's version of Scrabble. And yesterday I hung Jihone out to dry with it. If you'll notice the score, it reads:

Jihone 97
Since I still have yet to beat my mom at Scrabble in my entire life, I cling to these small victories.
But one day I will beat her, and then I will carbon freeze the board Hans Solo style and it will be passed down to my children and my children's children as a piece of precious art.
And the title of that art piece will be "In Your Face Mom".

its marvelous, i have one of these myself, think father and chess.
after 6 years of chess, at least once a week, i finally beat him at age 16, and promptly ended my chess career, as i obviously had no higher to go.

Keep your aspiration to beat your mother, it gives you something to live for. You can only go down from there, as 'each of the two' described.

Just so everyone knows, the score is now 180-150 with Erica in the lead (same game).
Slowly but surely I am making my comeback. Just like Erica's herpes.

It's been far too long since I've paid scrabble. It's the perfect game for us word nerds :)

Scrabble... my mom would kick my trash at that game... or any word game, for that matter. Although I would definitely beat my husband at most word games, and he would probably beat Kennedy... so I guess it would all work out in the end.
