Chad probably doesn't remember this, but in 7th grade we were riding our bikes to the bus stop (yes we were awesome); and as we rode I said to Chad that I had been thinking about it, and I didn't think my parents were very close with their cousins anymore. So, I concluded, all grown-ups must lose touch with their cousins.
"But," I told him, "I think when we're old and married, we'll still be friends."
And Chad shrugged and said, "Yeah."

I'm glad I was right. Happy Birthday Cousin!

aww! cute photos :)
happy birthday chad! hahaha
that's nice that you still get along and still see each other. im only 16, but my cousins already live far from where i do, so we see each other very little and so when we do, we are not as close as we'd all like.
btw, i love the boots! they're cute :)
That is the sweetest story, and I love that Halloween photo of the two of you. Happy Birthday Chad!
Aw, that is so cute. And what a good story. You were such a cute little girl... That was when we hung out! Haha.
Sweet Chad, happy birthday!
I loved when you 2 were Mary and Joseph every year at the Guttery Christmas Eve.
Um, you were probably the cutest little 3 year old evah.
And I'm diggin' your bangs! Not that it matters, but just stating that I do.
So glad you and Chad decided to stay close cousins - I agree with your mom on that picture from Christmas - its one of my favorites. Love the cute hair. Sorry your closet smells like butt.
I love this POST! So sweet, I am so glad you are still close too. I am also glad that Chad and Rachel were here in Boston with me! Is it strange that if I had a copy of the first photo of the two of you little that I would blow it up and hang it on my wall? I really would.
p.s. I am being as careful as possible I always look around me to gauge my surroundings when alone and I say no to the thugs that ask me out (cause they are the only ones that do ask me out in this city). haha. MEOW
Oh I Loved that post and story. Really so cute. Love Chad Im so glad him and Rach are married! Now he's kinda my brotherish.
