No more verticle blinds.

Well, we bought a house! The process has completely taken over our lives for the last couple of months, but I didn't want to blog about it until now because I didn't want to jinx it. I'm a big believer that things are incredibly jinx-able. Yes jinx-able.

Yesterday we had our final signing with the title agency. I really wanted to get a picture of us actually signing the papers, but Zach wouldn't allow it. And actually he barely tolerated this picture.

Me, title agency office, file folder of important house documents, and an excited smile.

Here's what our apartment currently looks like, which is exactly how it looked six months ago (plus one helpful cat).

And here we are at the new house last week during one of our many trips to show it to loved ones. Yes that is now our ugly door, and our paint-needed stucco. I dont' really have an explanation for our pose, except that we are really cool.

Now we are just waiting to get our keys so we can move for the third time since we've been married!

Yay!!! Congratulations!! Seriously- owning your own house is one of the BEST feelings in the world.

And I'm with you on the moving. We have been married for 7 years- and we've moved 8 times. And now we have a house. YAY!

It will be so much fun for you guys to decorate it. I can't wait to see pictures!

congrats Mr and Mrs Young! Houses are the best/worst!!! So many places to decorate.... and clean! Just kidding we don't clean. Way to engage in the American Dream! Thanks to President Obama and his brilliant economic strategies :) ps- so seriously lets party it up for cinco de mayo... Shall we say my house or cousin's next door? And do you think people will be ok to party on a work night?.... thoughts and suggestions or even a back off loser I already have plans. Thank you much :)

I didn't know you were even looking to buy a house! I can totally relate now to all of the stress that comes with home buying. And the whole process doesn't feel complete until you get the keys. (We're still in the middle of the process somewhere.)

Are you in Mesa? We are buying in the northeast Phoenix area.
