My dad fixed our sprinklers and laid a brick line for us, bless him. The latter involves trench digging, mixing and pouring cement, mixing mortar, and laying the brick. So, yes, I didn't do much but take pictures while they worked.

Isn't she beautiful? We're on our way to no longer having the ugliest yard in the neighborhood!

Also over the weekend was my Grandpa G's 80th birthday and all six of his kids were there for the celebrations! Here they are looking sharp:

Zach spent most of his time at the family functions playing games with my little cousins. Before you think, "Oh he is so sweet", I should clarify. He doesn't let them win, and most the time I would look over to find at least two children in shambles looking and pointing at Zach with disdain.

Luckily for him, they did recover quickly from his unfair treatment.
So that's pretty much it. Happy Wednesday gangsters. I updated my blog mom, stop harassing me.

Lol to Zach playing games with the kids. I'm not very good at letting kids win, once in Lake Powell with the Crockers I played a game with Truly's neice and they were like, "nice Malia, she's 4."
Gotta ask, even if this sound dumb, but what's the brick line for?
We're going to put granite rock behind the brickline where dead grass currently is. Don't worry, we have a glorious landscaping vision.
Oh nice...I thought I somehow was the only person who didn't know what a brick line was for. What a great looking brick line, you have! :)
LOL Malia. Listen, when you have "the eye of the tiger" age is not in the equation.
Lol Zach. He was harrassing Sween at my house!
Okay, there is too much work as new homeowners, right? I did not sign up for this.
Do you and Zach play games together very often? I stopped playing Jason when possible because he is brutal as well.
I am very excited for your fancy new yard to take form.
I remember Brad NEVER letting his kids win when they were little, siting the theory, "It's better to not let them get a false sense of security." Maybe that is Zachary's motto.
The brick laying looks fab.. and your yard seems to be coming along nicely too :) LOL at Zach!
Btw, very youthful family shot there - he holds his years very well.

Super cute. We need to get working on our backyard. It needs so much crap done to it.
