We went up to Holbrook for the 4th, obvs. But I didn't take very many pictures or very good ones. Whoops.
Apparently we fed a lot of animals though. See for yourself:
Goats
Cow
Sheep
Because that's how we do.
After we were warned to not turn our backs towards the sheep because they are known to ram, Zach promptly did this:
But no ramming occurred, to his disappointment.
Another thing we did was go to the Joe City parade which is actually just kids riding their bikes down main street, who knew? Emily and Ben brought their own interpretation of 4th of July attire in the form of lime green and pink.
Also there was a teeter-totter at one point.
And Grandpa.
And some clouds.
And Dene pulling weeds, because if nothing else in this world makes sense, if nothing seems reliable or stable, if you are lost in a existence of uncertainty; have peace, because you can always know without a doubt, that somewhere in the world, Ordene Guttery is pulling weeds.

LOL!
Zach turning his back on the sheep, lol. And why were you feeding sheep?
The children with their own interpretation of 4th of July, lime green and pink, lol.
Ordene! You got an action shot of Ordene.
Do not question our chosen activities in Holbrook Malia, we have our reasons.
In times of strife and sorrow, I just think of Sneaky pulling weeds and all is right again.
Your paragraph on Denies weed pulling was high-larious.
No pictures of the volunteer fire dept lighting themselves on fire????
It's good to see Carole and her kids taking part in all the amazing festivities.
Is there a petting zoo in Holbrook now??
Okay, so I think that we need to somehow dress up for the Shark Week party. Ideas:
-dressing up like your favorite Discovery channel host. But there aren't any girl hosts.
or
-dressing up like your favorite shark. This could be entertaining or lame. Thoughts?
The way that sheep is looking at Zach makes me laugh!
Okay, dressing up like your favorite sea creature sounds AMAZING! Well, Shark Week starts August 2, which is a Sunday, so we could do it then or another day where there is good shark week stuff on. Remember last time was kind of uber boring? And I vote Neil and Andrea's, even though I have not asked permission..
Ok so maybe I have an illness of some sort- but it's so hard for me to resist pulling weeds when I see them in random places. Like Justin and I went mini golfing the other day and I was so tempted to just get on my hands and knees and start weeding. I didn't, luckily. But only to keep the nearby children from asking questions.
