Happy New Year folks

I've started my New Year off right. On the first Monday of 2010 I forgot my wallet, and didn't notice until after I had already put my order in at the Starbucks drive-thru. When I got up to the window I had 65 cents to offer. They let me have the drink for free; so I've started the year off being a total scrub.

I also forgot my Christmas pictures so these pics from our Utah trip will have to do. Sam conveniently (not conveniently at all for anyone, but we forgive him) decided to get married in Bountiful, Utah on December 30th. We drove Sam and Julia's car up for them, and decided to make the trip in the middle of a snow storm. Because we are geniuses.

This led to the trip taking us 13 hours. Have you ever been in a car for 13 hours with a spouse whom you thought you loved? After 13 hours you do not love them anymore. Especially if upon arriving in Salt Lake at 9 o'clock at night you've only eaten 5 cinnamon bears since noon.

But we also saw this on the trip, making it all worth it.

The wife/mom sticker is dancing on a stripper pole in case you were wondering.

So these guys got married, they are cute.

Snow! Outside our hotel, Zach really didn't want to take this picture. And my hair really didn't want to be cute.

At the reception, always ones to behave tactfully, we were the first to attack the cupcakes. And I think Zach was scooping out punch while the caterer was still mixing it.

Zach dressed like Don Draper for the reception, which was a plus.

And on plane ride home Zach had bed hair, which was an even bigger plus.

We made it home on New Year's Eve. Goodbye December you were crazy and hectic and I am happy to be rid of you.

Yay 2010!

That window sticker couldn't be anymore redneck.

For Zach's sake please keep your tummy full! No one can handle an Erica on 5 gummy bears.

I'm glad you guys didn't careen into a ditch!! I hope Samuel appreciates your life-risking. :)

You guys need a well-deserved haitus from family gatherings.

Hooray for 2010! Utah is seriously freezing, and those pictures make me want to reach for a blanket.

That sticker is so stupid it's not even funny.
