Reading nook

When I was little I used to create reading nooks whenever possible. I'd pile blankets, pillows, and a lamp in a very small space. It was usually in a closet. One time Chad and I made a reading nook on the top shelves of a walk-in closet of my Grandma's house in Holbrook; we would climb up to the shelves using piles of suitcases. It was by far my best reading nook ever.

Now I want a grown up reading nook. Hopefully it will involve a window bench or maybe just a soft chair and a window.

Hey Erica, wouldn't this post be better suited for your AZ Central decor blog? Yes it would reader. However that blog will no longer be updated. But I possibly have another project coming up involving AZ Central, and maybe my own decor blog that doesn't involve AZ Central. I know you won't be able to sleep now from your EXTREME EXCITEMENT. Sorry.

I love all of your reading nooks! My reading nook would be a Sunday nap sleeping nook, because I don't read.

Bummer about the AZ Central blog. I loved reading all your little design posts. They inspired me. Thank goodness you're family and I don't have to feel guilty about stalking this blog and getting design tips, as well keeping up on your life, via your posts. :-)

P.S. I would love a reading nook, too.

Love the nooks! Even more perfect when reading while wearing a Snuggie.

You need a reading nook for you and Pegs to curl up in.

Went looking for your blog today, as it's my Friday thing to do and you're gone! I'm depressed and need to snuggle in a reading nook.
