The boys started lining up the coins.

Then I joined in and told them how it's really done.

Then we took some pretty pictures and waited for the train.

But then we realized we put the coins on the wrong track, the boys ran back to fix the situation...

...and panicked a little more than was necessary.

The train still wasn't coming. It's a fact that a train goes through Holbrook every 6.5 seconds. Unless you're waiting for it to smash coins, then it takes its sweet time. So we danced.

Then we danced a little more.

Finally, the train came!

It was a long train.

Chad and Austin pulled up to help us find the coins. Plus, they realized how much they were missing out on.

Yay for smashed currency!

I can see the news headline now:
"Erica Guttery De-rails Train Full of Orphan Children."
Yeah I think it's definitely a felony.
I've never gotten to do this. I'm depressed now. I want to watch trains smash my pennies and dance about it. :(

It's true, not many things are as rewarding as the Penny Smash Dance.
Ya Chris how did we miss out on this penny smash thing? I for one was too busy piling tumbleweeds on cars and taking laps...

Yeah I can't believe neither of you have done it! My Holbrook memories are 56% train track coin smashing. Including Grandma warning us with horror stories of little kids playing on the tracks and getting cut in half by trains.
