It's called Guilty Pleasure Night. Wow that looks dirty typed out. It entails bad acting and predictable plots. Lots of times some sort of silly side-kick is involved. Sometimes there is dancing or ice skating. This is called: your guilty pleasure movie. They are the ones you hide when showing your DVD collection, or claim were "a gift".
We were discussing just these types of movies while out to dinner; and Guilty Pleasure Night was born. We went to Blockbuster and Step Up was rented. We watched it and loved it but also hated it. Maybe I watched the final dance scene again after they left my apartment.
So what should we watch this month? Here are some of my suggestions:

maybe we went and saw she's the man after devin's 22nd birthday party and then maybe we had to never rent it again after annie quoted the line where amanda bynes calls some girl a bitch. oops! so put me down for she's the man in your suggestions box.
Oh my gosh, you MUST watch She's the Man. And Laura Fletcher just stole my story about our sister Annie calling someone the b word. And she called someone that at Wal-Mart. The one on Stapley. She could have been jumped afterwards.
Ah yes Glitter! But perhaps it would be TOO bad and therefore not a pleasure?

lol to Annie and the bitch story. And if they were at the Stapley Wal Mart they probably deserved it. That place is the ninth circle of hell.
I vote "She's The Man" since it has that same hottie from "Step Up."
I also vote "Tokoyo Drift" as our 2nd feature.
Maybe after watching "Step Up" Chris and I both went home and Googled hottie for 2 hours.
I proudly declare that I liked Step Up. It was actually a good "bad" movie. I am all for "She's the Man" if it's got Mr. Tatum in it. I think that's basically my only prerequisite for a guilty pleasure--just some hot babe(s) in it. They cancel out all the bad plots, writing and acting.
What else matters, really?
I also vote for She's the Man. And perhaps my friends and went to see it in the dollar theatre. Twice. Channing Tatum did us in.
Excuse me but She's The Man is hilarious. I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet. It's so funny, I might puke.

Shamefully, I have seen most of these movies, and enjoyed them. How can you forget "Dirty Dancing havanna Nights." I know you like that one Erica, and I actually own it. "Strictly Ballroom" is another good one.
People swear by "She's the Man."

oh and Kenzie has been trying to get me to watch step up from like the first day I got home.

I'll admit to a girl crush on Amanda Bynes, my besty and I saw "she's the man" in the theatre. And we're all set to go see her movie that comes out this month, I don't even know what it's called but we're going.
Us and all the other 12 year old girls.
It sounds like we're gonna have to see She's the Man.
And Heidi, yes I saw Havannah Nights in the theater. I am not ashamed.
