So for about oh, three years, I've been hinting to Zach that I wanted him to take me to the pottery painting place "As You Wish!" Well actually it started as hinting. There's an “As You Wish!” right by the movie theaters we always go to, so I would look longingly at the colorful pottery displayed in the windows when we walked by. Then I started saying things like, "My dad used to take Griffin and I to ‘As You Wish’. I've always wanted to go again..." or "Isn't that plate cute? We really should go paint pottery there sometime.”
And then finally, "WHY HAVEN'T WE GONE TO AS YOU WISH YET!!!??"
That seemed to do the trick, so on Monday we went. And it was all I hoped for. When we started our little projects we thought it was going to be all fun and games, but as you can see above we both got very serious about our painting techniques and creative visions.
As a side note, Zach's bowl says "Juan's Bowl, Hand Off". Because Zach made up an alter ego that is named Juan Sanchez. I don't want to talk about it.

That is way cute! I didn't know they had places like that... but I suppose it's only for people who are actually creative. Anything I made would come out looking like something from a Dr. Suess cartoon.

been to "As You Wish" once...ah, yes..I remember...it was Morp my sophomore year. haha. It is time to go again. When do you get to pick up your dishes? I want to see them.
P.s. you must think his alter-ego is at least a tad funny (cause it is).

Now I don't feel as bad, I finally got my fiance to take me there a few months ago. I only hinted for like 6 months. I'll let him know your story he'll appreciate it. It'll make him look like a winner. LOL! (I live in AZ also, I don't find many AZ blogger...that I enjoy reading that is)
