I bought this book because Zach and I were wandering around Barnes and Noble and I liked the cover and it was on sale. I know the title makes it sound like "Are You There God? It's Me Margaret", but actually the title is the same title as a painting that the book is centered on. Basically it's chick lit about the art world in New York. Sorry if I just made it sound interesting because it's not. I have nothing against chick lit (I've read the Shopaholic books. There I said it) but the author tries so hard too be funny and fails, that it almost hurts to read it. And she keeps using the word "sassy" and I wanted to spit on the page.

I noticed you were asking for an easy dinner recipe. So I am going to shamelessly plug our recipe blog..."Becoming Betty." We only make things that are easy, so you'll like it. You can access it from mine or Holly's blog.
LOL. Now how about some Willa Cather?
I'm glad I'm not the only one that reads a book all the way through even if it sucks.
Exception: motivational books (especially those given to me by my mother-in-law or my husband) ... I can create my own guilt - thank you very much...
sounds like I'll have to go pick it up some time this week
Okay, you totally had me at art world in NY, but punch me in the face made me think otherwise. You should give it the 50 page challenge and if you are still hating reading it, chuck it.
