One Month!

Today is our one month anniversary!

I wonder how long you get excited about the month to month milestones. And you're wondering when I'll shut up about it on my blog.

Only time will tell readers.

Does anyone have an easy and yummy recipe I can make tonight? Emphasis on easy. Then New Husband will be so drunk with deliciousness he won't notice when I put "Only You" (early 90s, starring Robert Downey Jr., and no I am not ashamed) in the DVD player.

Um I love Only You. We may be twins. Recipe suggestion: take-out disguised as real cooking.

Italian Chicken:

put chicken in a glass dish. Pour Italian Dressing and add worschestershire sauce til darker brown. Put a small piece of butter on top of each piece of chicken, salt, pepper, thyme and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes.

This is what I make when I am at a loss.

Or this one:

Men love this, I think it makes them feel like they are camping or something.

Hobo Dinner:

Line baking sheet with tin foil. Make patties out of ground meat, seasoned to your liking. Add carrots, chopped potatoes, onions and whatever else your heart desires. Cover with foil and bake at 400 for 40 minute.

Posse Stew, Brennon's favorite.

Really easy, You cook a pound of ground hamburger or I use ground turkey. Add chopped onions. Add can of corn, tomatoes, ranch style beans, and diced green chile, all with the juice. Put a tablespoon of sugar and salt and pepper and let it simmer til it's bubbly. Its good with cornread or in tortillas.

Thats pretty crazy that its already been a month! It goes by SO fast.

Noodles plus Prego equals spaghetti.

Or Filiberto's.

It's been three years, you'd think I'd be better at this by now.

One thing I did learn though is that candles, to celebrate the months, in hot things is a bad idea. They melt inside and fall over and your cute idea turns into a flaming mess.

I like the celebrating months thing and I also like "Only You". I'm too late checking this for meal suggestions but Emily's idea reminds me of Mrs. Doubtfire's first night on the job.
