This Friday, 8/8/08, is the opening ceremonies for the Olympics, AND Rachel's 24th birthday. So we are having an olympic birthday party. Yes it is awesome.
When: 8/8/08
Place: Rachel's Parent's house, because we're cool.
Time: 7:30 ish
Food: We have had several ideas for this. Emily suggested Chinese food, or healthy olympic food like power bars. I also thought red, white and blue food would be appropriate, but perhaps not very appetizing. We also thought food shaped in olympic rings would be good.
So just bring something edible that has to do with the olympics, and bring your sweet spirits.

oh it's my 24th birthday too!! crazy! you know, having three eights in your birthday (8/8/84) is very lucky, and this year is supposed to be particularly lucky because it's 8/8/08, in chinese culture. so basically, we're awesome...

i dont know you, but i have the same birthday, and just found out that every year since 2000, our birthday adds up to our age, as in 8+8+8=24. that proper freaked me out, and i thought i would see how many other people had this birthday, also thought id freak some one else out. theres only 12 dates of birth that this works with. big up
um... Rachel is a creature in that picture, I love it! And I am SO SO sad that we can't come tonight... stupid work! But have a good one and make sure Rachel knows, she will be in her MID 20S next b-day!!!
