Supa Bowl

You might have heard the Cardinals lost. Sadness. My interest in the Cardinals, and football in general, obviously only started about 2 months ago; and yet the devastation was palpable.

But the party at my Aunt Chris' did not disappoint.

First there was some trampoline activity. Where Zach kept telling the girls, "I'm about to bring the bomb, I'm about to bring Hiroshima!" And then he would bounce them. Maybe he shouldn't allude to devastatingly violent and deathly World War II atomic bomb attacks while playing with my little cousins. Maybe.

Chris used both Cardinal and Steeler decorations because my Uncle Mike was supporting the steelers. Because he is a butt head from Pittsburgh.

Here's his stupid Steeler shrine. Don't worry, my mom blew out the candle during the game and knocked the carefully folded sweatshirt onto the ground; it seemed to help.

Camille wasn't really into football-watching. But she was really into bringing out every article of clothing and accessory she could find and demanding we put them on her.

At final count: skirt, camisole, necklace, belt, beanie, headband, socks, and a mitton. Totally normal.

And here's Zach speaking for all Arizona Cardinal fans on Sunday.

Your pictures turned out so good!! And I wish I could have watched Zach bringin the bomb to the tramp. I'll bet those girlies loved it.
Sad game. But great company.

Love yous!

P.S. And you didn't mention your mind-boggling spinach-artichoke dip that you brought that was TO DIE FOR. I could have eaten the whole bowl.

I'm with Zach :(. I went to a superbowl party that my friend Ryan put on. He is in the university ward so there were a lot of 18-ish year old girls being air-heady about football or having side conversations too loudly or cheering for the steelers just to upset me and Oscar (my main Cardinals co-cheer man)even though they could give a rats...about who won. It was really fun though. I felt the Cardinals spirit in the room for then main portion, Oscar and I screamed and jumped up and down and embraced on the miracle touchdown in the 4th by us. But in the end it was another heart.break.hotel
Besides the one world series of the D-backs, has an Arizona team ever had good Karma on big sports games?
Anyways, I enjoyed your post...sorry I went off about my own Cardinal happenings, I just really understood the look on Zach's face.

Maybe I should have set fire to the shrine and then we would have won.

Zachary Binks face says it all.

Case I feel your pain.

That is one of the most pathetically sad faces I've ever seen. Good job, Zach.
