The result:

He took three Benadryl right after it happened, which pretty much did nothing but make him extra drowsy. We went to Urgent Care first, but they wouldn't take him and sent us to the Emergency Room instead. We then spent four hours of our Friday night in various E.R. waiting rooms.

Due to the Benadryl he kept answering all the nurses' questions with "I don't know." or completely the wrong information. I had to take over a few times.

He is looking much better as of yesterday evening, and no longer looks like Will Smith from Hitch. Which is good.

Oh my gosh. I can barely even look at these pictures! He looks so bad!
Ahhh, poor Z.
Yes, I immediatly thought Hitch when I saw the pics. Plus Benadryl? I hope you are at a point where the two of you can laugh about it now. :)
um, chloe just said, "why is that guy winking?" haha. i mean-not laughing.
sorry guys! that is super scary. i'm allergic to ibuprofen & have dealt with similar shenanigans. i sympathize.
Poor Zachito! He needs to stay away from those bees.
You forgot to mention the part about showing his picture to your primary children and scaring the Bejesus out of them.
Poor Zachy!! I'm just glad his allergy isn't any worse than that (and that's bad enough). How long did it take for that huge eye to go away?
((and I am reading "Water for Elephants and loving it, btw))
