Doomed Project

I bought this fabric here.

Fabric1

I think it will work perfectly as a window covering in my kitchen. I want to make a tie-up shade like the one in this picture:

I don't know how to sew, nor do I have a sewing machine; but I figure those details will work themselves out.

Where do you think you live, Hogwarts?

Come to your senses and take that fabric back.

Nothing like maternal encouragement to get you through your endeavors.

LOVE the fabric. sewing a straight line is NOT hard. even guys can do it! all you gotta do is find someone with a machine and you're golden!

I have a machine Caca. You can borrow it any time. And I love that fabric! And the 'inspiration kitchen' is so cute. Come to my house and redo my kitchen. In fact, redo the whole house.

Lol, Chris she is amazing at decorating I am not kidding you! I wish she would come to Utah and re-do my house as well. The curtains are so cute, and I really like the inspiration kitchen as well.

Ya- it definitely looks like you have an eye for interior design... when I finally get a HOUSE I'll hire you to come decorate it. You and my husband can fight over details. He thinks he knows what looks good for some odd reason...

I have one too Erica, also if you like that cool red drawers with the black flowers, those exact flowers are the press-ons at target. I love that kitchen.

I love that fabric and that kitchen is so cute. I would be glad to make your curtains for you, but you have to come to my house.

they make fabric glue. My mom has curtains like that and I'm pretty sure she didn't sew an inch of them. good luck

Since you're pimping yourself out for blog banners, are you going to do the same for interior design? I'd love to get our kitchen redone for the price of a breakfast burrito.

you can use my machine too, if you like. the room it's in is really hot though because it doesn't have air conditioning so you might die of over-exhaustion. ah, just like the sweat shops of old. good luck!

I LOVE THIS! So cute! You've got me freakin addicted to etsy! And the sucky thing is, it's the slowest website EVER...at least on this computer!!! Find me some faster fabric site!!!
